This is the dramatic moment an American bald eagle dropped a Prairie dog it trapped for dinner before drawing off a daring nose-dive to retrieve it again. The stunning images show how the large chicken became embroiled within an aerial battle with a fellow eagle over the unlucky dog. One skull cap then seems to succeed the fight and works on to fly off using its prized catch to eat for lunch. But the dog falls from the bird's grip and commences to plummet towards earth. However, at the previous minute, the eagle constitutes a desperate bid to obtain its prey and copes with to pull up the dog with just twenty-five feet to spare.
